VEHTEC is heavily involved in the design, drafting and project management of a wide range of customer specific vehicles.  Our current expertise can be broadly described as Government Utilities Vehicles, Military Application Vehicles, Emergency Services Vehicles, Plant Trailers and Mobile Cranes.

Qualified mechanical engineering staff are on hand to assist Clients to turn their functional requirements into optimal designs that will meet all relevant standards

Utilising highly experienced VEHTEC staff with nearly 20 years experience in the design, drafting and project management of light & heavy fleet vehicles and modifications, VEHTEC will undertake any design task.

Qualified Mechanical Engineers are intimately involved in many aspects of base vehicle design, rear body mission module design, designing load restraint systems, plant trailer configuration/stability and ensuring full compliance with the road traffic act and vehicle standards..

It is our goal to undertake design modifications to heavy vehicle fit outs to provide greater efficiencies and operating cost reductions, based on the truck whole of  life analysis.

VEHTEC currently works directly with clients and oversees the manufacture at commercial body  builders or will perform services directly for bodybuilders on behalf of their clients.

As Transport SA Recognised Engineering Signatories VEHTEC can perform design certification on existing vehicle modifications to enable the vehicle to obtain South Australian Vehicle Registration.
