Fleet Management Software - eFMS

VEHTEC Fleet Management Software , eFMS, is a fleet management software tool designed to provide all the reports necessary to perform fleet management.  VEHTEC often encounters organisations that are attempting to run their fleet using their internal finance and administration software which typically has an asset management module. 

The difficulty with this approach is that although these systems will track costs well, they are not designed to track utilisation, fuel consumption, ad-hoc maintenance items or predict scheduled servicing.  The net result is the fleet management system becomes an after the fact cost tracking device which is reactive rather than proactive and the costs of maintaining a large plant in this fashion are excessive.

eFMS is an in house developed comprehensive powerful user-friendly software tool that enables fleet managers to plan, control, analyse and report on all aspects of operating and maintaining a fleet. eFMS also incorporates a GPS component allowing accurate data collection of vehicle related systems. i.e. fuel economy, rev ranges, PTO usage etc.

The system has both an external purchase order module and an internal workshop
time-sheet module, which efficiently tracks all maintenance, service and operating costs directly against each fleet unit. eFMS tracks vehicle locations, actual usage and automatically notifies when vehicles are due for scheduled servicing.
