Telematics is the technology of tracking the movements and/or status of a vehicle or fleet of vehicles, through the use of a vehicle location unit (VLU) fitted in the vehicle with a method of returning the position data to the user, by mobile communication network to an online location.

VEHTEC's VEHTrac Solution is an Internet-accessed fleet management system that uses the latest in mobile, GPS and satellite technology to enable customers to track and communicate with their vehicle fleets and mobile assets.  For the cost of just over 1 litre of diesel per day, you can have a complete historic itinerary of the movements of its assets, including routes, stop locations and durations to ensure that your fleet its operating at maximum efficiencies, for minimum cost.

When used in a commercial environment the VEHTrac solution provides a powerful tool to improve the efficiency of your organisation. The VEHTrac fleet management system provides the ability to reduce fuel costs, streamline the dispatch of mobile workforces, meet legislative requirements (e.g.. hours worked) or just track where vehicles are located at any chosen minute of the day or night. VEHTrac GPS Software Pricing Solutions

At VEHTEC we understand that all businesses are not equal, and have packaged our GPS software options to suit a variety of business sizes and structures.

Ranging from 3 months up to 24 month terms, our range of GPS telematics options will meet your business needs with packages from $52.50 per month (Ex GST & Communications).
 

VEHTrac Managed Solution:

Many business do not have the resources to manage a telematics solution, so VEHTEC offer a managed version, which provides daily reports detailing your fleets activities, which are emailed through each day. This option does not have any Real-Time tracking.
 

VEHTrac has a full range of reports, covering many activities including;

· - Vehicle based activities

- Start, Stop, distances travelled and stop durations

- Exceptions reports

- Speeding and idling exceptions
 

To simplify your business VEHTrac can also incorporate a dispatch, route management and optimisation module which provides instant updates detailing which vehicles are;

·  On time as allocated;

·  Late in their route

·  Finished….and ready to commence another route?; or

·  Have not yet commenced their activities.
