VEHTEC can extend our basic VEHTrac GPS Fleet Management Solution to incorporate additional components that will allow your employees to register and dispatch a message should they feel at risk, or injure themselves where they require assistance.

Option 1 : Incorporating a Duress Alarm Module with your GPS Fleet Management solution provides operators or drivers with peace of mind knowing that they have the ability to register a call for assistance whilst away from the vehicle. By combining the GPS Tracking unit with a pendant activated VEHTrac Duress Alarm Module, at any time if an operator feels under the threat of danger, or suffers immobility they can simply activate their radio transmitting duress pendant.

Activating the Duress Alarm pendant emits a radio frequency signal to an in vehicle receiver that in turn relays the activation to the VEHTrac GPS tracking unit. Once received the first action is to dispatch an SMS to a nominated mobile number(s), advising of the duress pendant activation, along with a time & location stamp. Secondly, all authorised users will receive a REAL TIME alert notification advising of the event, along with a location, time & Date stamp. At the push of a button, the location of activation is then able to be 'plotted' on the digital mapping structure to assist with locating the vehicle & operator in need of assistance. 

Option 2 : Utilising a single or multi plane tilt sensor, if the vehicle rolls over at or above the preset settings an automatic hard wired signal will be sent to the VEHTrac GPS Tracking unit. This signal is initiates dispatch an of SMS to a nominated mobile number(s), advising of the incident, along with a time & location stamp. Secondly, all authorised users will receive a REAL TIME alert notification advising of the event, along with a location, time & Date stamp. At the push of a button, the location of activation is then able to be 'plotted' on the digital mapping structure to assist with locating the vehicle & operator in need of assistance.
